About Personality

Posted in Relationship By Warrior on May 27th, 2007 No Comments

As a person goes through life crises and events a personality changes. A person would have to live in a vacuum to not be affected in someway by the events that they participate in. An outgoing person who experiences a great deal of tragedy may become quiet and introspective. An individual who is shy as a child may become outgoing and gregarious as they become to participate in more activities during school and their esteem increases.

I think it’s not true that it stays the same. When I was 13-15 I was a trouble maker, didn’t care about life and I was always angry and crying all the time. I hated people by the way they looked or if they where “preppy” and other awful things. Now I’m 17 and I have a different outlook on life and the people around me and I’m not mutilating myself physically and mentally.I don’t judge others, I don’t hate people as I used to. I am a happy person with a happy life. I believe people change, everyone’s personality is what they want it to be and I want mine to be the best that it can be.

I believe certain aspects of our personality can alter. As we progress and learn more about ourself we learn to change some things that could affect our personality in some sort of way.

Protect HTML Copyright

Posted in Featured, Website Promo By Warrior on May 27th, 2007 No Comments

Someone ask me, is it possible to protect html from copying? I think it has nothing to do with copyright - it is called copy protection. You do this by installing a script that disables right-clicking on your page. This does not, however, prevent people from highlighting text, then selecting Edit - Copy. It is generally agreed upon in web design that using scripts to disable right-clicking frustrates and alienates visitors who use the right click on their mouse button for other functions such as Add to Favorites, Print, and Open in New Window (for links).

The best way to protect our content is to register your site with an anti-plagiarism site such as copyscape, which searches for copies of your page on the web. http://www.copyscape.com/

At the bottom of your web pages, you should put a statement such as:
“Contents, including images, property of [name of site]. Unauthorized dupication prohibited.”

House Plants that Can Live with Low Light

Posted in Featured, Housing and Gardening By Warrior on May 27th, 2007 No Comments

Low Light and Big Huh? Look at Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum), there are varieties that can be up to 36″ tall. You should also consider Snake Plant (Sansevaria), it can also become tall. If money is no matter look at Rhaphis Palm. Super expensive… but worth it. It can get up to 8 feet or taller in time.

spathephyllum_flwer.jpg If plants in the 24-36″ height are plenty, look also at Chinese Evergreen (Aglonema) and Cast Iron Plant (Aspidistra) and of course a wide array of Philodendron and Pothos.

I bought an “Air Firn” 4 years ago for that very reason, and it was tiny when I brought it home. It is “HUGE” now, and sooooo beautiful! My plant doesn’t require a lot of attention, and about once a week I put it in a room for the day to get filtered light. I water it really well once a week, and it has turned out fine.

Ants in The Kitchen

Posted in Housing and Gardening By Warrior on May 27th, 2007 1 Comment

ants-kitchen.jpgI’ve got ants in my kitchen and they are really hard to get rid of! I’ve tried ‘Ant Rid’ in the past, but no luck! Is it just a matter of cleaning all surfaces really well, so there’s nothing for them to eat. How do I get rid of ants in my kitchen?

Clean bench tops and cupboards down really well, and then wipe down with a clean damp cloth that has a few drops of essential peppermint oil on it, you may need to apply a few drops of oil a couple of times.

Ants hate the smell of it and it is also environmentally friendly, and safe for humans and children, and no residue powders etc to clean up. Add the big bonus is the kitchen smells fresh and minty.

Google Adwords

Posted in Website Promo By Warrior on May 27th, 2007 No Comments

I´m looking for a way to be able to test the various adwords advertisements that appear at the side of the page on google.com when you type in a specific search term. My problem is that I want to see ads that are targeted for the US only.

The only solution to this is for me to get some geo-targeting database on my site and target my ads based on the IP address of the user so that I only display my Google ads onto my pages when the users is in the US.

In the AdWords interface, the advertiser chooses the targeting for their ads and Google targets them based on the advertisers criteria, not the publisher.
