This is the hot case about JK Rowling bashes ‘Harry Potter Lexicon’. It’s about JK Rowling vs. Steven Vander Ark. Ark, a middle school librarian is editor of a Web site containing a fan-created collection of essays and encyclopedic material on the Potter universe, including lists of spells and potions found in the books, a catalog of magical creatures and a who’s who in the wizarding world. “I am deeply troubled by the portrayal of my efforts to protect and preserve the copyrights I have been granted in the Harry Potter books,” she wrote in court papers filed Wednesday in a lawsuit she brought against the small Muskegon, Mich., publisher.
Do you agree with her?
I love the Lexicon, it’s so amazing. Steve Vander Ark and all the other contributors to the site must have amazing patience to find and record all those little details. I don’t think she should sue- people will still buy her encyclopedia, even if the Lexicon’s book comes out before hers, because it’s JKR and it will seem ‘official’.
I know that she has more money than God, but if I were her, I would still be upset and sue. I heard ages ago that she was planning a Potter encyclopedia, and I’d hate it if someone tried to steal my idea.

Well i think Steven Vander is really dumb trying to make a quick dollar trying to steal someone’s idea. But to me the best way to end it espically if you have enough money is put a hit out upon him. That is really what you get and the best thing is its quick and clean (well not real clean and illegal, but thank god she lives in london, i do not think their are any international laws with london, just Australia..)
