Global Cooling after Global Warming
Any news told us that several areas around the planet experiencing record cold and extreme cold, in the face of all the predictions of global warming. About fifteen years ago there was a group of scientists claiming that the Ice Age was coming and many had bought bumper stickers to remind us of the whole ordeal that would kill 2/3 of all life on Earth. Now some scientists contend the cooling is the result of reduced solar activity which they say is a larger driver of climate change than man-made greenhouse gases.
Al Gore and a group of socialists and scientists claim we are all going to die from massive flooding due to too much CO2 in the atmosphere, that simply is not so.
FoxNews.com describe this condition on Evidence of Global Cooling.
Now there is word that all four major global temperature tracking outlets have released data showing that temperatures have dropped significantly over the last year. California meteorologist Anthony Watts says the amount of cooling ranges from 65-hundredths of a degree Centigrade to 75-hundreds of a degree.
He says that is a value large enough to erase nearly all the global warming recorded over the past 100 years. Watts says it is the single fastest temperature change ever recorded — up or down.
Solar Cycles, Space Weather and Solar Flares is a highly underestimated issue with weather, for instance, when you heat up water on the stove it swirls a lot each time you increase only one degree. A more serious issue to Global Warming, I believe would be mankind’s paving of cities is far more an issue with extreme weather than CO2.
The global warming and global cooling debate has been in the news recently for various reasons, including the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change scheduled for March 2-4 in New York City. For those who don’t know the term, global cooling is a hypothesis that has never had any scientific support, but has had plenty of attention. According to an article on USA Today.com, shows that during the 1970s some scientists believed that the earth would experience global cooling, but they were outnumbered by the scientists who believed that global warming was going to occur. The reason why there was less support at that time and today for global cooling is due to the fact that there was no scientific consensus to support global cooling.
