This is my favorite show. The Points of Miss America 2008. Miss America Swimsuit Competition 2008 (video Live), Miss America 2008 Contestants, 16 finalists for Miss America crown. And the result, Miss Michigan - Kirsten Haglund Crowned Miss America. Haglund, a 19-year-old of Farmington Hills, Michigan. She beat Miss Indiana Nicole Elizabeth Rash and Miss Washington Elyse Umemoto. She got a prize the $50,000 scholarship and year of travel that comes with the crown.
